2011 Harley Davidson SuperLow

harley-sportster-superlow

Harley Davidson have announced a new Sportster variation for 2011. The SuperLow XL 883 L lives up (down?) to it's name with a snake belly low 650 mm seat height.

Fuel capacity on the Superlow is another headline feature, up to 17 litres. Chassis has been given a go over, with Harley looking for a better handling package in this model. Steering rake and trail changes along with new Michelin Scorcher tyres have apparently achieved this.

With an RRP of A$11,495 the SuperLow is the most affordable model in the 2011 Harley-Davidson line. The SuperLow is available in Black, Cool Blue Pearl, as well as Merlot Sunglo / Vivid Black and Birch White / Sedona Orange two-tone paint.

HD tell us to expect the SuperLow in September 2010.

Short shocks produce a spavined look (especially seated) and a Screeee! sound even in moderate cornering. It needs longer Progressive Shocks and fork springs, otherwise stay slow and safe. Form over function every time with Harley. At least comfort is improved over the abominable Iron.
