V Strom Xpedition

Suzuki UK often have optioned up models available for their home market. At the moment they have a couple of optioned up VStroms. This one is called the Xpedition, and features black 82 litre aluminium panniers, as well as engine and hand guards, centre-stand and an aluminium sump guard.

Based on the ABS Strom, this model is around 1300 pounds( 2200 Aussie dollars) more than a base model VStrom. With interest in adventure type riding appearing to be on the increase, we wonder if this would be a possible Australian model? It's got nearly everything you need to head off around Oz.

yeah, as long as the price is right, why stuff around doing all this yourself, when you can ride it from the dealer almost ready to tour. good idea from the poms

Id love to see a variety of 650 VStroms in Aus over and above the basic ABS. I had a black 650 VStrom (2006) in the UK and added Givi luggage, engine guards, hand guards and a sump guard (hard to get in 06). Looked much bigger and meaner with the gear on and caried it like a 1000. Sold it prior to migrating (fooool).
