09-ttJohn McGuinness has won his 15th Isle of Man TT when he took victory in front of 2 other Honda's, giving them a 1-2-3 in their 50th year celebration at the TT.

The HM Plant Honda rider finished 18 seconds in front of team mate Steve Plater, with Guy Martin completing the Honda trifecta in third. Last years winner Cameron Donald was injured in a practice accident and did not take part.

Valentino Rossi completed a lap of his own, however it was just a demonstration lap for his sponsors.

Mat Mladin didnt get to stretch his win streak to ten in Race 2 at Road America. The second AMA Superbike race of the round was won by Larry Pegram on a Ducati. Aaron Yates was 3rd on another Suzuki.
Mat Mladin has won his 81st -83rd if you disregard the cranks- AMA Superbike race at Road America on Saturday in damp conditions.

Second place was a surprise, going to Michael Laverty, brother of WSS Eugene, and himself an ex-British Supersport Champion. Ben Bostrom put the Yamaha on the podium for 3rd. Race Two still to come, with  Mladin starting to put a sizeable points lead together.

If you are a user of Brisbane's toll roads, the Gateway and Logan Motorways, changes are coming for motorcyclists. As of July 1st 2009, the toll booths are being phased out, replaced by an e tag system, or in the case of motorcycles, a "videotag."

Rather than carry an electronic tag device on your bike, or in your jacket, you sign up for an account, pay in some credit, and add the registation numbers of any vehicles you would liike on that account. The camera system on the tollways will bill you from a photo match up system. Car drivers will have to pay a 40 cent premium per toll booth to use this service, but according to Queensland Tollways, this will be waived for motorcycles.

On the positive side, traffic flow will speed up without the toll booth bottle neck, and no more fumbling for change with gloves on. On the other hand, remind me again why we are still paying tolls on roads which were built up to 20 years ago?

After setting the fastest ever lap at the Isle of Man TT race, and clocking the first ever 131mph average lap speed - a  131.457 effort on his Suzuki GSX-R1000 superbike - Cameron Donald has crashed in practice for the Superstock event, injuring his shoulder. Early reports suggest he may not take any further part in racing.

Mat Mladin has qualified on pole for the Road America round of the 2009 AMA Superbike series in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. Mladin was over half a second clear of team mate Blake Young, and Yamaha's Josh Hayes in the Superpole.

This round is a double header, with a race on both Saturday and Sunday.

Superbike Race One on Sunday saw Honda rider Glen Allerton continue where he left off, another win, with Waters Suzuki again in second. Kevin Curtain got Kawasaki on the podium for third. Those who rode straight back to their pit, were the narrowly beaten Bugden in fourth, with team mate Giles in fifth.

Race Two in the afternoon was delayed by rain, and machine problems saw Allerton on his second bike. This time it was Maxwell's turn for a Honda win, the flying wing taking all four superbike wins this weekend. Josh Waters was bridesmaid again, for the fourth time in a row.

Curtain again put the Kawasaki up in third, in front of Giles and Allerton.
