Stoner fastest again Day 2 Brno

Casey Stoner again set the fastest time on Day 2 of testing at Brno. His 1.55.85 best was clear of rival Valentino Rossi by .75 of a second. He also managed a blistering 1.55.90 on race tyres, eclipsing Rossi’s two year old pole record. Stoner has been working on reducing the lean angle of the bike in corners, to enable faster entry and exits.

Rossi was working on tyres and electronics reportedly. Suzuki riders Capirossi and Vermuelen were 3rd and 4th respectively on the timesheets. The next MotoGP round is at San Marino on the 30th of August 2008.
