Superbike Supply Shootout , Motorcycle Drag Racing, Willowbank Raceway, Queensland

Superbike Supply Shootout is an opportunity to take your street bike to the controlled environment of the dragstrip, and race mates, or race the clock! Picture Galleries of previous Motorcycle Shootouts can be found HERE
All types of bikes are welcome, previous events have seen the usual array of Japanese sports bikes ie Hayabusas, GSXRs, R1s, 600s etc , but also bikes ranging from motards to M109s, even a Triumph Thunderbird! For owners of purpose built drag bikes, please see notes below in instructions.

Gates will open at 12.30pm Runs from 1pm
Cost will be to race $48 admits 2 people. Spectators - Adults $19 Students with ID $17 Children 13 and under FREE
Entrants and spectators from the Superbike Supply Shootout are welcome to stay after 4.30pm at no extra cost to run in the Test n Tune
This is a chance for you to try your hand at motorcycle drag racing. You can see who's got the quickest or fastest bike in the pack. It's a great day to meet new people, organize a ride to Willowbank, or just come out and watch everyone else.
Standing instructions for Test n Tune events.
Please note this event is aimed at street type motorcycles. The majority of entrants will have ridden to the track. Laydown style drag bikes, car tyre, or wheelie bar equipped bikes are NOT street type motorcycles. If you wish to use one of these street events for tuning purposes, please enquire with the organisers first.
Every motorcycle MUST CHECK IN before their first run. All riders must sign the Entry Form. A second person may ride a motorcycle BUT they must sign the Entry Form. After signing the Entry form and getting an arm stamp, you must show the stamp to the Official at the head of the Staging Lanes.
If the BIKE runs slower than 10.00, you will need as a minimum the following:
Protective Clothing: Leather jacket or equivalent, long pants, gloves, motorcycle boots & socks, (full leathers highly recommended, one or two-piece) no joggers etc
Helmet must be one of the following:
AS/NZS 1698:2006 (AS/NZS 1698)
SNELL SA2000, SA2005, SFI 31.2A (US)
SNELL M2000, M2005, SFI 41.2A (US)
BS 6658-1985
If the helmet does not have an AS/NZS sticker on the outside, check in the liner for one of the other other certifications.
If a bike runs quicker than 10.00 the motorcycle and rider must comply with all relevant ANDRA safety requirements. Any motorcycle running quicker than these times at an event and does not comply with the relevant ANDRA safety requirements will not be permitted to take any further part in the event.
