Jason Crump Gets His Husky
Australia’s two time World Champ Jason Crump has just landed back in Oz after recently winning the 2006 FIM World Speedway Grand Prix Championship, reclaiming the title that he won back in 2004.
Jason now resides on the Gold Coast and wasted no time in picking up his Husqvarna TC450 from Husqvarna Importer Paul Feeney so that he can continue with his bike fitness as soon as possible. Crump has also struck a deal with Husqvarna in the UK where he is based when racing in the World Speedway Championship.
“It’s great to be training on the TC450 which helps me maintain my bike fitness in preparation for Speedway and I’d really like to thank Husqvarna’s Paul Feeney in being able to make this happen. His support goes a long way and I can’t wait to give the TC450 a work out,” said Crump.
Not having ridden in Australia since 2004, Crump has a hectic schedule ahead of him when in Oz and will be competing in a number of events with the first being the Dave Booth Memorial at Hatchers Raceway on the Gold Coast, Saturday December 16, 2006. From there Crump will contest the 5 round Australian Speedway Championship which begins with round 1 at Newcastle on January 3rd, 2007 and finishes at Mt Gambier on January 13, 2007.
