Ben Spies to ride MotoGP Donington
Suzuki’s Ben Spies -the current American Superbike Champion – will make his MotoGP debut at next weekend’s British Grand Prix at Donington, after Loris Capirossi was ruled unfit for the race.
Spies was pencilled in for a Laguna Seca round debut as a wildcard, but Capirossi’s broken hand has opened an earlier opportunity for the 23 year old Texan. Capirossi will attempt to return for the following round at Assen.
