Yamaha have launched a new model for the Indian market ,the R15. Manufactured in India, the bike mimics the looks of the Tuning Forks flagship, the R1.
Yamaha have over 400 dealers in India which sell a range of Indian manufactured small bikes, and interestingly, the R1 and 1700cc MT-01, imported from Japan.
“This particular bike looks very racy but actually a very mediocre person can also drive this bike as you have probably seen today,” said Tsutomu Mabuchi, Managing Director of Yamaha India.
The 150cc fuel injected single sports bike has a reported price of around 2500 Australian dollars
