HRCA Ride day August 2008
Honda Riders Club of Australia (HRCA) announce that former motorcycle racer and Road Race Performance Academy Director Alex Gobert will be in attendance at the Club’s next ride day at Oran Park, NSW on Monday, 18 August 2008…
Alex will be available to offer attendees advice and coaching tips about how to get the most out of the day, as well as to offer assistance with bike set up. Additional special guests for the day will include Motologic’s Brad Free as well as Teknic Honda racers Glenn Allerton and Jason O’Halloran who will also be on hand to chat with riders and offer advice on the best way to tackle the circuit.
HRCA ride days are aimed at providing members and their friends with a chance to bring their own motorcycle out to the race track and ride in a safe, controlled environment. HRCA days are not ‘race’ events, however those interested in learning more about racecraft can have a chat to Alex about the launch of his new rider training academy, and the dates and venues now booked for the remainder of 2008.
Honda also provide the opportunity for test rides of the latest sportsbikes including the CBR600RR and CBR1000RR. Riders of all abilities and brands are welcome. Bikes must be roadworthy and registered. Spaces are still available. Please visit the entries section of www.hrca.com.au to obtain a booking form.
