Viperformance/Metrakit Australia are launching Spain’s new 2009 Metrakit XL80R Road Racer at Phillip Island’s MotoGP on 3, 4 & 5 October. This can be viewed at the Metrakit Stand in the support paddock and will also circulate the track piloted by Australia’s 2007 Metrakit Champion & Red Bull Rookie Dylan Mavin in the junior display
. This impressive evolution from the current XL80 Copa follows the trend style lines of the MotoGP classes, in which progression it is intended. There will be upgrade kits available for the superseded model, which has been an outstanding racer in all assets, for the past 5 seasons. The upgrade kits will ensure that all models are on a competitive basis. The new 2009 Metrakit model concretes the fact that the Spanish manufacturer are surging further ahead in the junior road race domain and have many more plans for their future worldwide series developments.
