Team Shift Motul Suzuki star Daryl Hurley heads to the Supercross Masters in Brisbane this Saturday night in winning form after a dramatic fortnight which included a heavy concussion-inducing fall in America and a race victory in New Zealand. The globe-trotting New Zealander was representing his country in the Motocross des Nations at Budds Creek in America two weeks ago when he fell heavily, was knocked unconscious and concussed.

Last Sunday, just days after the fall in the US, Hurley bounced back in style on home soil in New Zealand. Having wrapped up second place in the 2007 Australian Motocross Championship, Hurley claimed a win in the opening race of the New Zealand Motocross Championship and finished second overall. Re-mounting his Team Shift Motul Suzuki RM-Z450 in Brisbane, Hurley will be looking to continue that form this Saturday (6 October) and chase victory at the Brisbane Supercross Masters (QLD).

Daryl Hurley – Team Shift Motul Suzuki

"From the crash in America I got a concussion and hurt my shoulder, but it’s gotten a lot better over the last fortnight. "I salvaged some points in New Zealand last weekend and I’m almost back to 100% for Brisbane this weekend. "Getting back on the bike last week and scoring a race win and finishing on the podium was a good confidence boost. "We’ve been out testing this week and the RM-Z450 is going really well, so I’m sure we can get a top result for the Suzuki fans at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre."
