2010 INTERMOT Motorcycle Show Germany
The 2010 INTERMOT – International Motorcycle Show -was held this week October 6-10 in the Cologne Exhibition Centre, Germany.
A number of manufacturers released or displayed new models, some excitement after a year of post financial crisis boredom. Kawasaki showed up with 5 new models, most notably the much hyped supersport 1000cc ZX10-R, and an upsized retro twin, the W800.
Suzuki unveiled it’s 2011 model GSX-R600 and 750 update, as well as a naked 750, the GSR. Triumph had the” new for 2011″ Speed Triple, and a blacker than black Triumph Thunderbird, the Storm.
Honda had some new colour schemes on the CBR’s, but is saving some new model releases for the Milan EICMA show in November. KTM had a cool 125, BMW showed its hyper tourers, the K1600GT and GTL, and Ducati had some upgraded models.
