Look Mum No Hands – For 500kms on a Harley
A Michigan, USA man has ridden “no hands” for over 500kms on his Harley to raise money for charity.
No Hands for 500 kilometres.
Phil Komar of Ardrian , Michigan has ridden over 300 miles (500 kms) without holding the handlebars on his Harley. Fitted with a long range auxillary fuel tank to go the distance, 61 year old Phil raised over $3000 for Parkinsons disease research in memory of his late father.
Riding “no hands” from Mackinaw City on the northern tip of Michigan, Phil said he steered his Harley with his knees, and by leaning, finishing up over the border in Sylvania, Ohio 315 miles later. He will be submitting his effort for a record with Guiness.
Nice work Phil, but don’t try it here in Australia or you could get a fine, as it is an offence to ride without both hands on the handlebars.
