One of the best motorcycle racing games, probably best described as a sim, is the Superbike series of games that have featured the machines of the World Superbike Championship for many years now.
Black Bean Games have announced that the 2010 version, SBK®X is now available as a Demo for Xbox Live Gold members, while Silver members, Playstation® Network and PC users have been able to download it since May.
You can sample all the dramatic improvements Milestone achieved in the brand new “X” (X for 2010) edition playing both in Arcade and Simulation mode on the Portimao circuit, challenging yourself in all the different weather conditions and even riding against other 15 opponents through the new Online Multiplayer Mode.
SBK®X will be available in both Regular and Special Edition, the latter a limited exclusive one featuring a Legendary Roster – a list of 17 playable riders taken from the history of the Superbike – plus a DVD documentary video containing an highlights footage and an exclusive interview with Ben Spies, the 2009 World Superbike Champion.
For the first time in the SBK gaming franchise, you will be able to challenge more than 90 real riders on the official circuits, create and customize your own rider and race in the 3 different classes: Superbike, Supersport and Superstock 1000. Featuring both Arcade and Simulation mode, with the chance to achieve goals in your career and enjoy a solid multiplayer game mode up to 16 players.
