AMA Road America 2008

After qualifying on pole, Yoshimura Suzuki rider Ben Spies has won the first race at Road America in Wisconsin today. Team mate Mat Mladin led early, but had no answer for Spies when passed. Kawasaki grabbed third with Jamie Hacking, Honda’s Neil Hodgson and Miguel DuHamel following in fourth and fifth positions.

Aussie Aaron Gobert has won the Formula Extreme race on his Rockwall Honda CBR600RR held in wet and dry conditions.

UPDATE: Race 2 Has been won by the Suzukis again, this time Mat Mladin has taken the race win, with Hacking again in 3rd. Hodgson repeats his fourth place, with Yamaha rider Eric Bostrom in fifth.
