*Michael Shumacher has failed to finish the Oschersleben round of the World Endurance Championship due to mechanical problems, which was won by the French Kawasaki team. Shumacher also crashed (again) in practice. Go Michael!

*Rizla Suzuki’s Tom Sykes, and HM Plant Honda’s Leon Haslam have shared a race win each in the Knockhill round of the British Superbike Championship.

*US FMX star Carey Hart’s brother Tony Hart has been killed in a Supermoto practice accident in Connecticut on Saturday 9th. RIP.

* An off duty Seattle policeman has been held in connection with the shooting of a member of the Hells Angels in a bar altercation at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. The policeman was with a group of riders named the Iron Pigs a motorcycle club made up mostly of police officers and firefighters.

* The founder of Jeffrey Honda, Mr Reg Jeffrey, has passed away. Reg Jeffrey founded one of Australias largest Honda dealers, Jeffrey Honda, in Ferntree Gully Victoria. RIP.
