Princes to ride across Africa

British newspaper the Telegraph is reporting that Princes William and Harry will attempt a motorcycle ride across Africa.

The royal brothers, aged 26 and 23, are reportedly planning an attempt at a 1,600km ride across South Africa and Lesotho.

Harry is apparently keen motor-cycle rider and was photographed riding while serving in Afghanistan this year. William reportedly owns a Honda Blackbird.

Prince Harry has set up a charity, Sentebale, to help orphans and Aids victims in Lesotho. About a third of the population are infected with HIV/Aids and there are approximately 180,000 orphans in a country of only 1.8 million people.

Their route, travel dates and accommodation are being kept secret.
