Results from the 2010 Brno MotoGP round in Czechoslavakia.
Jorge Lorenzo has powered to his 7th win of the 2010 season in Brno with a comfortable win over Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa. Casey Stoner got past Ben Spies for the final podium position.
Valentino Rossi rode a relatively quiet race by his standards to finish in 5th behind Ben Spies. Andrea Dovisioso, Mika Kallio and Loris Capirossi all crashed out during the race, with the luckless Alvaro Bautista binning the remaining Suzuki on the last lap.
Lorenzo now has a commanding 76 point lead in the championship over Pedrosa, while Stoner’s 3rd and Dovizioso’s crash have put the Aussie Ducati rider into 3rd in the points chase.
