Brno World Superbike 2011

Marco Melandri and Max Biaggi shared a win each at the Brno WSBK round this weekend. Championship leader Carlos Checa had points lead whittled to 30 with a pair of third places.

Of the Aussies, Troy Corser sat this round out due to injuries, Chris Vermuelen was 18th in Race 1 and a non starter due to injuries from a practice crash, while Mark Aitchison was the best with 16th and 12th places.

Supersport was won by Gino Rea, with Brock Parkes crashing out mid race.

The next round is at Silverston in Great Britain, July 29-31 2011.
