Kawasaki Racing Teams Daniel Reardon has cleaned up both the Pro Open and Pro Lites Classes at Round 3 of the Shell Advance Sunshine State Motocross Series, held at Chinchilla over the weekend.

Riding both the Kawasaki KX450F and KX250F in front of a local crowd, Daniel Reardon won every race in both the Open and Lites Classes, convincingly winning the third Round of the Queensland Series.

The KRT Factory rider showed good fitness and displayed creative riding skills throughout the event. His ability to work hard and methodically win races resulted in him winning hole shot after hole shot and dominating the event. Reardon, pleased with his efforts, is amused when reflecting on his success over the weekend. “It  was great to ride and win on both the KX450F and the KX250F.” Reardon said. “I was surprised at how wellI competed on the 250 as I don’t get the opportunity to ride it that much now-a-days. I spent so much of my time training and competing on the 450 that I look forward to getting the opportunity to ride the bike which gave me the Pro Lites Title in 2005.”

Reardon’s Racing Trainer, Mike Ward was pleased with his riders form. ”Dan rode really well” Mike said.“He constantly pushed himself throughout the entire event. This was evident by the fact that he crashed nearing the end of Race One. He had rallied hard throughout the race to get a substantial lead over theentire field, that when he remounted his bike and restarted racing, he was still in the lead."

"Dan convincingly won the hole shot in the opening three races, so our strategy in the fourth race was
to not go all out at the start. Instead we opted to use the fi nal race to further practice and develop Dan’s passing skills. It worked well and Dan successfully ducked and weaved his way though the field and won the race, ultimately winning the event”  Ward said.

Round four of the series continues on March 17/18 at Tivoli circuit Brisbane.
