Husky Chix on Podium – Rd 5 Go Girls 2006
Thursday November 23, 2006
The 5th and final round of the Go Girl Series for 2006 was wrapped up over the weekend with round 5 held at Warwick on Sunday November 19, 2006.
Bateman (555) riding her Husqvarna TC250 rode well with three solid third place finishes in her 3 motos for the day which placed her on the third step of the podium for the series. Little champ Sharni Farnell on her Husky Boy 50 clean sweeped the round with three wins and won her female 50cc division.
Husqvarna Racing wish to thank the whole team that put together the Go Girl Series for such a fantastic event that is growing from strength to strength and seeing more girls taking the step into MX racing.
With the profile of female MX lifting in Australia and overseas, now is a good time to think about getting in and continuing with the sport.
Team Husqvarna Racing would also like to take this opportunity in thanking all of our sponsors for all their support and commitment throughout season 2006. Motul Oils, RK chains, Ferodo brakes, Cool Air air conditioning, Michelin tyres, thor clothing, Excel rims, JT sprockets, pds stickers.
