Castrol Honda Superbike Team – Ten Kate

With only weeks away from the opening event at Phillip Island, Ten Kate/Castrol Honda have unveiled their new – and old – livery. New because this year the team will be known as the Castrol Honda World Superbike Team, old because this colour scheme will bring back fond memories of years gone by, including the Castrol Honda effort in 2002 when Colin Edwards pinched the World Superbike title of Troy Bayliss with a huge year ending effort. Edwards previously won the 2000 title on the Castrol backed machine.

The Castrol Honda team as the Ten Kate outfit will be known, will replace the HANNspree sponsorship from last year, and will field riders Jonathan Rea and wildman Ruben Xaus. Expect to see those red and green colours on the podium more than once in 2011.
