Last year was a pretty tough event for me having to pull out during qualifying to find out I had a fractured pelvis and major blood clot.
I’m looking forward to actually racing at Mallala again and hopefully grab some more points to get right back up to the pointy end.

It’s been four years since I’ve raced at Mallala, but we tested there a couple of weeks ago and it went well – Shawn and I were doing similar times so I’m really happy with that.
I’m feeling pretty good about this weekend. With a couple of good results at Winton, I’m starting to settle back into the team and the bike. The next goal is to beat Jamie Stauffer and start winning races.

We had a really, really good test at Mallala; we focussed on the GSX-R600’s suspension and made some big improvements – I think we’ve got the bike pretty we’ll setup for this weekend. 
For both myself and Team Yoshimura Suzuki, I’m aiming to keep improving like I have been and keep moving forward in the championship.
