Honda preview Lakes MX

This is the first time a national motocross championship round will be held at the Lake Macquarie Club.
The Club is located along Cessnock Rd, Ryhope NSW within the Central Coast region approximately 2km from the Pacific Highway toward Toronto.
The track consists of a challenging layout with a total of 17 corners, 5 tabletops, a stutters section and 8 smaller jumps.
The club is the home track of esteemed riders including No Fear Honda's Craig Anderson as well as international rider Chad Reed.
Anderson has raced and won a mulititude of club days at this track over the years.
This being his second round back from injury, Craig Anderson has spent the last two weeks training and riding in the local area. He is now at full fitness, and is expected to be one of the top finishers this weekend.
Kade Mosig also spent the last two weeks training with Anderson in the Newcastle area. The riders used the opportunity to work with Ando's personal trainer from the Australian Institute of Sport, Anthony Klarica.
After winning Wonthaggi's round 8, Cody Cooper now sits 11 points behind Daryl Hurley who is in second place.

Craig Anderson – “I've had a really productive couple of weeks on the bike. I've spent a lot of time on the Lakes track in the past as well, so I'm looking forward to Sunday for sure.”
“My aim is just to finish off this season as strongly as I can, and then re-group in preparation for the next title series.”
Cody Cooper – “Winning the last round gave me a boost, but I know I'm going to have to work pretty hard to finish the series on the podium.”
“After the series, I'm going to spend some time overseas so I definitely want to finish on a high.”
Kade Mosig – “I came up here to Newcastle straight after Wonthaggi to train with Ando and that has been really good. Anthony spent time with me as well so my fitness is excellent at the moment.”
“My goal has been to try and finish races in the top five, and I achieved that at Wonthaggi. I am hoping to do that again this weekend.”
