Kawasaki signs Luke Arbon

luke arbonKawasaki have signed the 2007 250cc and 85-150cc Junior Motocross Champion Luke Arbon to ride in the 2009 Australian Motocross Championship.

Luke, who turned 16 last month was a finalist in the 2008 South Australian Junior Sports Star of the Year. He currently leads the 2008 SA 250cc State title.

“I’m super excited to get on board the Kawasaki. I went up to QLD for testing last week and the KX250F felt just right. Everything gelled perfectly with the bike and with the team as well and I just can’t wait to start riding and win some Championships!” said Luke.

KRT manager, Brett Whale, is equally optimistic about the potential of Luke Arbon within KRT saying, “KRT is the perfect team for such a talented young rider and I’m looking forward to working with Luke. I know that with our team’s atmosphere and superior product, I can take him all the way!”

Watch for Luke Arbon debuting at the Australian National Pro Lites  as he joins his KRT team mates, Luke George and Mitch Hoad, at the first round of the Australian Supercross Championships in Perth on 4 October.
