Pirelli Rosso IIs as used in the European Junior Cup on 250cc Ninjas are now available in Australia.

Pirelli have announced the availability of new sizes in the popular Diablo Rosso II Hyper-sport Radial Tyre, specifically designed for 250cc sports motorcycles.

The new 110/70R-17 54H and 140/70R-17 66H sizes were used as control tyre in the 2011 European Junior Cup on Ninja 250 as part of the World Superbike Championship.

Available now in Australia, these new Diablo Rosso II sizes are perfect for 250 riders looking for a sporty radial tyre for their bikes, upgrading from the normal X-Ply construction available as standard on most models. With Zero degree steel belt construction, Enhanced Patch Technology (EPT, for a larger contact patch) and a host of other WSBK derived technology just like big brother Rosso II ZR, these new tyres allow a greater level of sports riding performance for the 250 market.

These new sizes are ideal for Honda CBR250R and RR, Ninja 250, VTR250 and many more.
Three further sizes will arrive June 2012 to further increase the “HR” range – 120/70R-17, 150/60R-17 and 160/60R-17.

The new Diablo Rosso II 110/70R-17 retails for $159, with the matching rear 140/70R-17 retailing for $179. Both sizes are available now from local Pirelli stockists Australia wide.
