After the scheduled first day of qualifying was rained out, the Nightfire Championships held a Willowbank January 5th-6th, were run in extreme heat and humidity in one day.

Performances were affected, showing in the times and results.

Pro Stock bike was won by Peter Cochrane, after top qualifying with a 7.40, he took out the final with a 7.37 over Jason Lee’s Trevor Birrell tuned Suzuki with a 7.51.

Competition bike qualifying was headed by Rebecca Archer on Blair Penningtons second B/Street machine, the ZX10R running a stout 9.49 in the heat of the day.

The finals however were once again a Pennington Everett benefit, with Blair Pennington red lighting away a fast improving 9.54 run on his GSX-R1000 Suzuki, with an untidy Peter Everett taking the win.

Modified bike was won by Jason Hammelswang on his R1 Yamaha, outreacting Dave Rundmann on a borrowed GSX-R1000.
