Team Husqvarna Racing’s supermoto rider Graham Cheney, campaigned the 2nd Round of the Queensland Supermotard Championship finishing the day in a credible second position at a sunny Willowbank on Sunday April 22, 2007. Cheney rode the S2 class aboard his factory SM450RR where in his 4 heats throughout the day finished in 3rd position behind Angus Reekie 1st and Nick Brain 2nd.

This then led the S1 and S2 riders into 2 heats with the top 9 from each heat qualifying for the All Powers Challenge.  Cheney broke away to a flying start in his heat and never looked back, winning convincingly and placing himself on pole for the All Powers Challenge.  In the scrap for the first corner Cheney filed in behind Reekie where they then both pulled away with a commanding lead over the rest of the field.  The lead positions did not change with Cheney eventually placing second.

The next event for Team Husqvarna Supermoto will be Round 2 of Moto Mayhem at Newcastle on Sunday June 17, 2007.
