DVS Honda star rider Adam ‘Krusty’ Fergusson is in a stable condition in the Launceston General Hospital after a very nasty crash during testing at Symmons Plains,Tasmania yesterday.

The 2004 dual Australian Champion suffered multiple fractures across his body and lost consciousness for a short time after the crash and is out for the remainder of the season. He is scheduled to have his first surgery this afternoon to plate both legs. Further surgeries are expected.

More details will be released as they are confirmed.

The entire team at DVS Honda wish him a full and speedy recovery and would like to thank the track staff and in particular the other teams and riders for their support and assistance at the trackside.

The team at motoaus would like to wish Adam all the best and a speedy recovery.

DVS Honda are pleased to report that Adam is recovering well from his
spectacular high side on Friday and both Adam and the team wish to thank
everyone for the flood of good wishes and support we have received.

Surgery to pin his broken legs went well on Saturday and although there is a
long way to go before 'Krusty' will be back to full health, he is expected
to be flown home from Launceston later this week.

"I'm hoping to get to most of the remaining rounds this year other than this
weekend. I won't be competing but I want to be there to thank my fans and
everyone that's shown us such great support. I'm feeling pretty good in
myself considering. The major injuries are my broken legs and I've done more
damage to my hip and smacked my knee up a bit, but we'll get there" Adam
said earlier today.

Adam will put it all in his own words for you when he is back home and
settled.

Thanks again for all your support – we appreciate it!
