Suzuki Australia will take the wraps off its eagerly-anticipated 2008 GSX-R750 for the first time at the Brisbane International Motor Show, February 1-10, offering an exclusive preview of the all-new thoroughbred sportsbike.

Launched in 1985, the original Suzuki GSX-R750 took racer replica sportsbikes to a new level, offering all-round performance never before seen from a street-legal motorcycle. The second-generation model reset the standards in 1996, and 2008’s all-new GSX-R750 is ready to do it all again. Suzuki’s most-powerful 750cc four-stroke production engine is coupled with a new cast-aluminium frame, exciting new styling, and an array of further developed high-performance parts to deliver open-class performance in a compact middleweight-sized package.

“The Suzuki GSX-R750 was the original race replica motorcycle and we’re proud to unveil the all-new 2008 model in Australia,” Perry Morison, General Manager, Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia said. “With its most-powerful engine yet, better handling and a range of other developments, the latest generation GSX-R750 is ready to set a new benchmark for street legal supersport motorcycles.”

Featuring technology developed and proven in international competition, the GSX-R750 is powered by Suzuki’s most powerful, efficient and cleanest running production 750cc engine ever.
