Looking Back – Honda CB750

Around the time America dropped a man on the moon, Japan dropped the CB750 onto the market, effectively sealing the fate of the English bike industry. In an era dominated by big twins, the Honda CB brought four inline cylinders, a disc brake, four carburettors and electric start.

With its powerful overhead cam, dry sumped motor, and four chrome exhaust pipes, its probably safe to say this bike was the most significant model ever introduced, and changed motorcycling forever.

The model line ran for nearly ten years, with Honda selling over a million of them worldwide.
