After five months spent recovering from multiple injuries sustained at the first round of the Dew Action Tour in the USA earlier this year, Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams has jumped back on his Honda to start training for 2008.
Bilko has now officially signed with Honda again, and said he is getting stronger every day. "My ankle and knee are still a little sore and not the strongest, but that will come good with time. I am jumping comfortably now, but am just a little rusty with the tricks; that’s to be expected."
"In terms of the new CRF’s, I am stoked with my two new 08 Honda’s and they are looking good ready to go for a big year coming up."
Bilko’s schedule will kick off with the Crusty Demon Tour in the United Kingdom. "It’s the first time we have toured Europe so it will be a great experience although it is a hectic schedule," the Victorian based rider said. "Also it will be around 5 degrees there so that will make things interesting!"
After the Crusty UK tour, Bilko will return to Australia for the regional "Unleash Hell" tour in February and March, including the "Night of World Records" at Calder Park Raceway.
