Claudio Castiglioni, founder of Cagiva and multiple time owner and president of MV Agusta, has died in Italy as the result of an unspecified illness at the age of 64.

A legendary Italian motorcycle¬† industry leader – at one time owning Ducati – Castiglioni sold MV Agusta twice, the last time buying it back from Harley Davidson. Castiglioni’s son Claudio recently took over the running of MV Agusta.
