Mladin wins last AMA Superbike race
Mat Mladin has won the last ever AMA Superbike race in the series as we now know it at Laguna Seca. Ben Spies has finished second from Tommy Hayden. Suzuki took the first 4 positions in the race. Mladin’s win was his 78th in AMA, or 80 if you include the controversial disqualifications for an "irregular" crankshaft.
Interest now turns to the future of Mladin, and his team mate Spies for 2009.
