Trials bike at Draculas castle

French trials bike maniac Julien Dupont carves it up in the grounds of Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania.

Bran Castle is located in Transylvania, Romania, and is marketed these days as the home of Dracula. Built in 1377, the 600 year old castle looks like it could have housed a vampire, apart from the fact that Bram Stokers famous novel was in fact fiction.

Red Bull extreme trials rider Julien Dupont wasnt going to let facts get in the way of a good photoshoot, and somehow gained permission to wheelie around and generally carve up the castle grounds. I guess its easier in Romania to get wheelie permits.

The premise of the video below is that touching the cross near the castle imparts legendary fearlessness. The thing here is though, the 30 year old Frenchman appears to already be fearless, if you’ve watched any of his freeride trials videos.

Anyway, it’s a good excuse to make a video involving speeding through a garden on a motorcycle, and for that alone it is worth it. As are the great photos below.
