Chad Reed goes Green!!

Australian Supercross sensation Chad Reed will give American race fans a taste of ANZAC spirit when he dons unique green & gold Thor race gear this weekend for the penultimate round of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series at Seattle’s Qwest Field.

 Reed, who is a proud Australian and will wear the one off outfit in honor of last Wednesday’s ANZAC Day said he had missed attending ANZAC Day services over the last seven years due to his International racing commitments.

 “As an Australian ANZAC day is one of the most important days of the year.” said Reed. “A number of my friends and family attended services in Australia on Wednesday but there wasn’t really anything like that available over here so this is my way of paying respect to those who fought for Australia’s independence.”

 "ANZAC Day always falls in the second half of the season so I have missed quite a few. There are quite a few Australians and New Zealanders competing in the AMA so maybe next year we will get together and do something of our own,” Reed added.

 With just two rounds remaining Reed is currently second in the championship with 297 points.
