Linden Magee for Kawasaki Supermoto
Linden Magee will be back on board in 2008 as a Kawasaki supported rider in the S2 Premier Class at the 2008 Australian Supermoto Championships.
Kawasaki is proud to announce that Linden Magee will be back on board a Kawasaki in 2008 as a Kawasaki supported rider in the S2 Premier Class at the 2008 Australian Supermoto Championships. Linden will also compete at other selected events on the Australian racing calendar in 2008.
After an impressive 3rd place finish in the 2007 Australian Supermoto Championships, Linden is excited to get back on board a Kawasaki KX450F and is looking to win the same event in 2008. Linden will also compete at the QLD Supermoto Championships and the Western QBE Moto Mayhem at Oran Park where he will race in the Supermoto, Motocross and Enduro X classes.
Linden raced only 5 of the 6 rounds in the 2007 Australian Supermoto Championships on board a Kawasaki and still managed to finish in 3rd place. Linden took the swap of Motorcycle brand and subsequent lack of testing and practise on board the KX450F all in his stride. He managed to race through all the teething troubles, and lack of fine tuning to his set up to finish strongly on the podium. Linden is therefore very optimistic about his chances in 2008.
“Our podium finish in 2007 is testament to the strength and adaptability of the Kawasaki KX450F. All the development we achieved on board the Kawasaki in 2007 will pay off for us in 2008. I’m extremely optimistic about my chances at winning and I’m really excited for 2008. It will be a big year for me!”
Linden’s first outing on board the Kawasaki KX450F in 2008 will be the QBE Moto Mayhem at Oran Park on Sunday 24 February. Kawasaki is confident of Lindens success and looks forward to seeing him on the podium in 2008.
