Vermeulen to swap 2 wheels for 4
Team Suzuki MotoGP star Chris Vermeulen will swap two wheels for four when he steps aboard one of the Britek Motorsport prepared Ford Falcon V8 Supercars at Winton.
Latest in a trend of motorcycle racers crossing over to try the caged in variety, known petrol head Chris Vermeulen will get to sample a V8 Supercar at Winton Raceway in central Victoria. Britek Racing sent us the following release:
Team Suzuki MotoGP star Chris Vermeulen will swap two wheels for four when he steps aboard one of the Britek Motorsport prepared Ford Falcon V8 Supercars at Winton Motor Raceway in Victoria this coming Tuesday (4 December).
The Australian MotorGP racer will be a guest of Jason Bright and as well as the Fujitsu and IRWIN Racing teams.
The drive will be just two days after the final round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series at Phillip Island. Vermeulen had been at Phillip Island earlier in the week for crucial post-season testing aboard the 2008 Suzuki MotoGP machine.
The drive at Winton will include instruction from Jason Bright, with two seats placed in the car. The drive gets underway from 2pm.
