Suzuki TU250X

Suzuki have announced they will be releasing the TU250X single cylinder road bike.

The TU250X has a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-oil cooled SOHC engine which Suzuki say is optimised for torque. Ignition is a digital CDI.

The TU250X keeps it simple with a steel frame, a low 770mm seat height, and upright an riding position. It has a front disc brake with dual-piston caliper and rear drum brake. Fuel tank capacity is 12 litres, which shouldn’t need to be filled all that often.

The retro styling angle features chromed front and rear wheels, headlight case, speedometer cover, tail light housing and exhaust system.

“The Suzuki TU250X is the ideal motorcycle for a wide range of riders who are seeking a timeless and classic machine,” said Perry Morison, General Manager Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia. “We’ve complemented our range with a retro looking, value packed bike with broad appeal. The TU250X has proved very popular in other markets and I am pleased that we could introduce it into Australia.”

The Suzuki TU250X is due to arrive in Australia this April with a Recommended Price of $5,990 plus the usual on road costs. It will be available in a Pearl Black / Metallic Grey colour scheme, with a two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
