Harley Shows off 2012 Range.
Harley-Davidson Australia has a number of new models for 2012 with the first available from next month (August)
The first to hit the showrooms will be is the broadly appealing the newly redesigned XL1200 Custom and the Dark Custom Roadsters like the Iron 883 and Forty-Eight.
Later this year is the new Dyna Switchback, powered by a Twin Cam 103 cube motor, and ABS as standard. The Switchback features mini-ape handlebars, colour-matched hard saddlebags and a fork-mounted windshield. The saddlebags and windshield quick-detach without tools. The five-spoke cast-aluminium wheels are reminiscent of a 60’s style dragster and look great on this style of bike.

Other models include the Road Glide Custom, one of the four Touring models being introduced across Australia over the coming months. The Road Glide Custom includes an air-cooled Twin Cam 103 engine with integrated oil-cooler, an electronic sequential port fuel injection system with cruise control.
Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) models will be released later in the year. This range will include the CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide, CVO Street Glide and the CVO Softail Convertible. Each CVO model is powered by the air-cooled Twin Cam 110 V-Twin, the largest-displacement engine offered in the Harley-Davidson model range.
