Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss will be a special guest at the inaugural Australian Motorcycle Expo Gold Coast from February 20-22.
One of the modern era’s most dominant road racers, the celebrated Australian talent recently announced his retirement from the 1000cc class where he recorded an incredible 52 victories, including a perfect double win at his last ever round. Bayliss will be on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs in his first public appearance at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The countdown to the event has begun, with less than a month until doors open and a number of exciting announcements still to come. Event Manager Mark Petersen said the event would offer a rare opportunity for fans to meet with Bayliss and other racing personalities.
“The Australian Motorcycle Expo Gold Coast is gaining incredible momentum and we’re very excited to confirm the appearance of Troy Bayliss who will be on hand to meet with fans,” said Petersen. “World Superbike racing has known few talents the calibre of Troy; he has flown the Australian flag for close to a decade and helped to cement our nation as a powerhouse in the world of motorcycles. Included in their ticket price, visitors can catch up with Troy for a chat and autograph, and enjoy all the event has to offer, including the very latest range of motorcycles, accessories and services.”
