Big Bore Same Bucks – Bandit 1250
Just arrived in Australia, Suzuki’s all-new Bandit 1250S is a steal for Aussie riders, offering advanced technology and more heavyweight power at the same old price tag.
Superseding the previous Bandit 1200, the new big-bore Bandit 1250S features 98cc more engine capacity without any increase to the suggested retail price. The new Bandit 1250S DOHC powerplant is now liquid-cooled with 1255cc of displacement, offering extra-smooth acceleration and relaxed highway cruising.
Newly equipped with the renowned Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) advanced digital fuel injection system, the 2007 Bandit is more responsive with smoother power output, improved mileage and reduced emissions. For improved engine performance, the cylinder-bores are plated with long-wearing, tough Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM), while the piston rings have a friction-reducing chrome-nitride coating.
The Bandit 1250S features a six-speed transmission with gear ratios chosen specifically to deliver powerful acceleration and smooth cruising on open roads. Featuring a classic tube-frame chassis and a 20mm-adjustable seat height, the Suzuki Bandit 1250S delivers an excellent balance between sporty handling and touring comfort.
Sporting a sleek half-fairing, the 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250S is now available in Candy Red or Metallic Blue at an SRP of $11,990 (inc GST), plus on-road costs. The Bandit 1250S also features Suzuki’s two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
