Ducati Desmosedici Hauler
Now you’ve got that Desmosedici as a track bike, what to haul it round with?
Motoaus.com is all about the latest news. This little gem is from last year, and came courtesy of a reader in the USA , but we somehow – embarrassingly – didn’t publish it. Hopefully this hasn’t disadvantaged Desmosedici owners Australia wide.
TOYOTA TUNDRA-DUCATI TRANSPORTER
It’s an age old problem, what to get, when you already have everything. Well, if you have a Ducati Desmosedici, and you live in the land of the free and the brave, you need a truck to haul it around in.
As the Desmosedici is the ultimate track day bike, you’d need something more than the American equivelent of an HT ute and that’s where Toyota comes in with the 2009 Tundra Ducati Desmosedici transporter.
The Tundra – Ducati Transporter is built on a 2008 Tundra CrewMax. It features Ducati Corse styling along with high tech materials. Additional features include flip up bedsides, solar panels for accessory power,a motorized loading ramp and plenty of tool and spares storage.
Someone then threw the TRD catalog at it, with TRD parts such as supercharger, exhaust, intake, suspension and brakes. The interior has received the treatment as well.
