Ducati unveil the Diavel, and Diavel Carbon musclebike. Pictures, details and video.
Ducati Diavel
Ducati have unveiled the Diavel power cruiser at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, and released pictures and a video.
The Diavel’s 1198cc Testastretta engine has 162 horsepower, and a thumping 127Nm of torque. With a dry weight of only 210kg, performance should be good. A 240 series tyre puts it to the ground through a massive single sided swingarm.
The Diavel has a huge 8″(200mm) wide rear rim in a 14 spoke design, while the Carbon model has lightweight alloy Marchesini rims. An ABS controlled set of Brembo monoblocs and 320mm discs up front are mounted in a set of 50mm Marzocchi USD forks.
The Diavel is available in two versions: Diavel which features a red/black or white/black colour scheme, and Diavel Carbon, with a black/red, or black on black livery. The Carbon also features a host of lightweight carbon and aluminium bits, as the name suggests.
