Harley Davidson LiveWire Electric Motorcycle

In a surprising development, Harley-Davidson has revealed Project LiveWire, the American company’s first electric motorcycle.

According to Harley-Davidson, the H-D styling pedigree combined with the latest technology, will offer a dynamic riding experience with instantaneous acceleration and an unmistakable new sound.
“The sound is a distinct part of the thrill,” said Mark-Hans Richer, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Harley-Davidson. “Think fighter jet on an aircraft carrier. Project LiveWire’s unique sound was designed to differentiate it from internal combustion and other electric motorcycles on the market.”

A Project LiveWire Experience tour will kick off in the USA in June 2014 with a journey along Route 66, visiting more than 30 Harley-Davidson Dealerships.
