Honda makes 50 Most Innovative list
Honda has scored the #12 position on Business Week’s "World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies" list
Honda has scored the #12 position on Business Week’s "World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies" list, jumping up nearly double the number of spots from a ranking of #23 in 2006. Honda joins such illustrious companies as Apple, Google, Microsoft and Walt Disney in the list of top performers.
Innovations such as Honda’s humanoid robot ASIMO, production of fuel injection system for small engines, motorcycle airbag, next generation solar cells, high-efficiency household energy supply systems, hybrid and fuel-cell technology and much more have helped the company to continue to move forward in a highly competitive environment.
The BusinessWeek-Boston Consulting Group 2007 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies is based on a senior management survey about innovation and was distributed electronically to executives worldwide in late 2006. Surveys are sent to the 1,500 largest global corporations, determined as well as senior management members of the BusinessWeek Market Advisory Board, an online panel consisting of readers, and via the Knowledge@Wharton e-mail newsletter.
