Honda’s FREE Demo Motorcycle Road Show kicked off last month, and over a period of five weeks, the crew have already visited 18 Dealers in rural Queensland and New South Wales. The Honda Riders Club of Australia (HRCA) is conducting the road show in conjunction with local Honda Dealers in order to offer customers outside major towns and regional centres the opportunity to test ride the manufacturer’s top selling bikes and scooters.
According to organizers, a total of 546 test rides have already been undertaken on the Honda fleet which includes ten of their latest models. "The reception in each town so far has been great and we are looking forward to continuing the tour into Victoria in November and down the NSW coast in December," said HRCA’s Rob Watson. In total, the tour is scheduled to stop in nearly 40 country towns Australia-wide.
Participants in the demo rides are led by an HRCA staff member for approximately 25 minutes around the local area, giving them an excellent opportunity to test out the performance and handling of Honda’s various line-up. The Cavalcade Road Show is a free Honda sponsored activity, however, anyone interested in taking part should contact a participating Dealer to book in ahead of time.
Plans are also now underway to continue the Tour on into 2008, so interested riders should keep an eye out in their local area for more information. Participating Dealers for the remainder of the tour include:
