The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer is on its way to Australia.
Moto Guzzi V7 Racer
As previously featured on Motoaus when shown at the Milan Motor Show, this V7 Racer version of Moto Guzzi’s neat little retro 750 is now confirmed to be on its way for sale in Australia.
Limited numbers of the special edition hot rod Guzzi will be available some time early in 2011. Prepare to see your dealer soon if you think you couldn’t go without one.
The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer is a pre-modded stock bike inspired by the V7 Sport mods from the Seventies. It is powered by the Moto Guzzi 750cc twin-cylinder engine. The V7 Racer features Moto Guzzi’s traditional styling elements with a mix of technology and craftsmanship.
A chromed tank embellished with a leather strap, sets off the red colour-matched frame, inspired by the chrome-moly frame of one of the early V7 Sports’ from the 70’s.
Wheel hubs and swingarm sport the same red special paint finish. A chamois-leather single-seat saddle, small windshield and tail fairing with integrated race number holders give the bike a very seventies look.
Other goodies include the adjustable billet alloy footrests, a lightweight steering stem and a steering yoke guard. Dual Bitubo gas-operated shock absorbers and 40-mm Marzocchi fork with dust boots suspend the beast.
