Suzuki GSX1400 Special Edition

Suzuki has unveiled a special-edition version of the GSX1400 big-bore naked bike, due to arrive in Australia in the coming weeks. With an air/oil-cooled engine representing Suzuki’s factory racing heritage, the GSX1400Z features a special-edition blue and white GSX-R inspired livery including the manufacturer’s legendary three stripes.

“With impressive power and technology combined with bold, big bike styling, the Suzuki GSX1400 has been incredibly popular over many years,” said Perry Morison the General Manager for Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia.”This stunning special-edition livery is the perfect way to celebrate the GSX1400 which will cease production at the end of this year.”

The special-edition GSX1400Z marks the final stage of Suzuki’s famous, air and oil-cooled, inline 4 cylinder engine, which descended from the original GSX-R750 race replica in 1985.

The four-cylinder 1,400cc powerplant in the GSX1400Z delivers massive low-to-mid-range torque. Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system helps provide smooth delivery of the  power. The GSX1400Z also features 46mm front forks and dual piggyback-reservoir rear shock absorbers, with a range of adjustment options.

The naked Suzuki GSX1400Z also includes a stainless steel muffler and convenient storage options.

In its special-edition White / Blue livery, the Suzuki GSX1400Z will be available in Australia shortly for an RRP of $12,990 (inc GST) plus government and dealer delivery charges, including a two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
