Triumph announce new models
Triumph has relesed details of upcoming new models for 2009
Triumph has released details of three 2009 models, and the upcoming Thunderbird Cruiser, due as a 2010 model.
2009 675 Daytona
The 675 Daytona features a host of refinements including:
- Fully adjustable suspension offers high and low speed damping adjustment front and rear
- New four-piston Nissin monobloc calipers provide greater feel and stopping power
- Uprated 128ps 675cc three cylinder engine provides 3ps more than existing model and revs 450rpm higher
- Standard fitment Pirelli SuperCorsa SP tyres deliver outstanding levels of grip and rider feedback
- Redesigned cockpit, screen and headlamps for a sharper look
- New exhaust system boosts performance while weighing 2kg less than on previous model
- Pre-wired for optional quickshifter kit
- Dry weight of 162kg represents a 3kg reduction over 2008 Daytona 675

- Powerful four-piston Nissin radial calipers and radial master cylinder front brakes
- Smooth and torquey 108ps 675cc three-cylinder engine

2009 Triumph Bonneville T100
Changes for 2009 model:

- Redesigned footrest rubbers with embossed Triumph logo
2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary
- Limited run of 650 individually numbered motorcycles
- Each bike comes with numbered handlebar clamp mounted plaque and certificate of authenticity signed by John Bloor
- Unique Meriden Blue/Exotic Orange colour scheme based includes two-tone mudguards front and rear and colour-matched side panels

Thunderbird
The Thunderbird features an all-new parallel twin-cylinder engine with six-speed gearbox and belt drive. The 1600cc cruiser is set to go on sale next year.
